How long of a massage do I need?

When people ask me how long of a massage they need, I say it is like this:

  • 60-Minutes is a one-week vacation
  • 90-Minutes is a two-week vacation
  • 120-Minutes is a four-week vacation
  • 150-Minutes is a deluxe four-week vacation

Options:

  • Spa Treatments include hydrotherapies and usually take 2-hours.
  • Rehab Sessions depend on what hurts and for how long.  Sometimes a kink let's go in 15-minutes, sometimes in four or more treatments.  If you're coming in only for rehab, book your initial appointment for 60-minutes.  This allows me to evaluate your challenge, to treat it, and discuss future appointments here or elsewhere with you.  Sometimes I recommend going to a chiropractor or a physician for faster results.  If you want a regular full-body massage and rehab, I recommend 90-minutes.
  • Two-hour sessions can be utilized for an hour on the front and an hour on the back and/or a combination of modalities.
  • 2-1/2 hour session usually include a few modalities such as Rejuvenation, hydrotherapies, and Advanced OceanaBodywork, etc.
  • Advanced OceanaBodywork can take 60 to 150 minutes depending on what the focus is for the session or for the month.
