Is the world going to slow down?

Those who want to learn how to cope with speed, information overload, and the "to do" list can be facilitated by REJUVENATE.
REJUVENATE is an easy to learn breath, stretch and awareness/mindfulness routine that connects body, mind and emotions for optimal wellness/happiness and learning performances. The routine can be practiced in the privacy of one's workspace and/or in groups in 5-30-minute segments. This routine does not take the place of regular exercise. It is specifically designed for the workaday and school worlds to increase open-heartedness to maintain focus and productivity.
REJUVENATE
- quiets the nervous system
- brings the heart to resting beat
- relieves chronic/acute aches and pains
- reinvigorates individuals to get on with their day
- calms individuals to sleep restfully
Coalition for Emotional Literacy (CEL) and OceanaBodywork are interested in developing these skills and states of being at businesses, schools, medical offices, and other environments. If you are interested, please contact Gayle at Oceana@austin.rr.com.
Too many adults (and youth) suffer from restless mind and agitated/exhausted body syndromes. To appease discomfort, many people use legal and illegal drugs. REJUVENATE teaches people how to work with their minds and bodies so that they live and work smarter and sleep easier with less medication dependency.
Gayle Temkin, Founding Director of CEL and OceanaBodywork says, "We all have minds. We don't need to go out and buy clothing, equipment or travel to get to our minds. What we need is a simple connective method like REJUVENATE to keep us on track so we don't over agitate and over exhaust ourselves. This will keep our physical and emotional well-being stable, our personal and work lives sane, and our pocket books out of health care costs. Plus, knowing how to relieve stress is a good skill and it feels good to be stress-free."
